Hello everyone!
As you all know, the World Series Of Poker have started in Las Vegas, USA. It’s that time of the year when all the players migrates to Nevada to try and make money, running after a gold bracelet, synonym of a World Champion title.
Like we do every year, once again in 2011 we are hosting a few qualifiers for the series.
So far, on top of our poker Diva Liz Lieu, we already have 4 lucky players who will be flying to Vegas for one or several events of the WSOP.
In the next few weeks, we will introduce you to our qualified players, and we are counting on you to cheer for them during the series!
You already know one of them, as Norson Saho is also on a huge streak in our Unstack Me If You Can promotion. He just won the heads up for the 5th week in a row, along with a total of $7,500 ! Norson aka lllllillliiiiiiiiiilllllllllll on Chilipoker.com, has qualified for 3 events of the WSOP, including the main event worth $10,000 buy in itself and we heard that he might even play a couple more…

The WSOP have started and although some players are creating a polemic following the black friday, everybody is excited and this year promises to be a good one, even if the field tends to be a little smaller. Then main actors of the industry will gather around and if you are a poker fanatic like we are, you might wanna make sure you follow the poker news! We are being quite active on Twitter, where we tweet and retweet the most important news throughout the day.
So far, the $25,000 heads up championship got a field of 128 players, and players like Gus Hansen and Tom Dwan ended up creating big action. The “Great Dane” finally managed to make a huge come back in this HU match to defeat Durrrrr. Can Hansen manage to win another HU tournament after his bracelet during the WSOPe in London? Jake Cody or Yevgeniy Timoshenko are still in the last eight too. more updates on www.wsop.com.
The event #3 has started too, an omaha high low split eight or better, and players have now made it to day 2. Event #4 will be starting today, and this $5,000 NLHE event has been expected by a lots of players. Whether you support players like Daniel Negreanu, David Benyamine, Barry Greenstein, or a less known player from your country, you can expect to see them from today, at the beautiful Rio, Las Vegas!
